RESOLUTION No. 6014 <br /> A Resolution declaring the listed vehicles and equipment surplus and <br /> authorizing their disposition. <br /> Whereas, the City currently has the following vehicles and equipment <br /> in its fleet: 2509F, a 1978 Emergency One Fire Pumper; H0025, a 2000 <br /> John Deere 310SE Backhoe; J0065 a 1986 GMC Personnel Lift; M0057, <br /> a 2005 Vermeer SC252 Stump Grinder; S0071 a 2001 Toro GM5800 <br /> Mower; and <br /> Whereas, the above-referenced vehicles and equipment are no longer of <br /> value or use to the City; and <br /> Whereas, Ordinance 2963-06 establishes a procedure and methods for <br /> surplusing or disposition of City-owned personal property; and <br /> Whereas, based on the guidelines set forth in Section 2 of Ordinance <br /> 2963-06, a public auction is the disposition method that best meets the <br /> City's interests; and <br /> Whereas, the City's purchasing manager has reported the basis for the <br /> estimated value of the surplus property and has recommended surplusing <br /> the above-referenced vehicles and equipment by public auction. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City Council of <br /> the City of Everett: <br /> 1. The vehicles and equipment numbered 2509F, H0025, J0065, M0057 <br /> and S0071 are no longer of value or use to the City and therefore are <br /> declared surplus personal property; and <br /> 2. The disposition of these vehicles and equipment at a Public Auction <br /> conducted by James G.
