November 2, 2016 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:34 <br /> p.m., September 7, 2016, in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br /> Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Murphy presiding. Upon roll <br /> call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, <br /> Murphy, Franklin, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. Council Member <br /> Bader was excused. <br /> Vice President Tuohy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the October 26, 2016, City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> Mayor Stephanson stated the employee service awards ceremony was <br /> held this afternoon, and he congratulated Council Member Roberts who <br /> was recognized for 10 years of service. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Tuohy commented that she visited the new Marriott <br /> Courtyard hotel on Saturday and encouraged citizens to check it out. <br /> Council Member Roberts thanked the Mayor for his comments. He <br /> reported that he attended a meeting today in Olympia held by the Joint <br /> Transportation Committee on rail safety. Council Member Roberts also <br /> commented that he toured the Francis Place facility in Bellingham last <br /> Thursday. <br /> ADMINISTRATION UPDATE ON PRIOR BUSINESS <br /> Debra Bryant, Administration, had no report. <br /> 351 <br />
