The Intemational Building Code and the International <br /> Residential Code state that all permits expire if the work authorized by the permits is suspen�ed <br /> or abandoned for a period of 180 days after the work is commenced. Work under these permits <br /> will no longer be authorized unless you: <br /> 1) Demonstrate continuing progress by requesting inspection of work that has occurred since <br /> your l�st inspection, or <br /> 2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed,or <br /> 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension,detailing justifiable cause for extension. <br /> Please respond within 10 days. After that time your permit file will be sent to our Records <br /> Department for microfilming without final approval. These records aze available to prospective <br /> buyers and lending institutions. If you wish to resume work in the future, a new permit must be <br /> oblained.
