Additional revisions, or additions, may be <br /> required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the <br /> 2003 International Building Code, as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the <br /> City of Everett and the Washington State Energy Code, 2004 Edition, unless stated otherwise. <br /> In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide <br /> the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings retlecting the corrections <br /> requested. <br /> 1. The stairway and elevator shafts that connect three floor levels are required to be <br /> constructed with a fire-resistance rating of one-hour Per IBC 707.2 and 707.4. <br /> Stairway doors are required to be one hour rated per IBC 707J. The shaft walls are <br /> required to be constructed as fice barriers that continue through concealed spaces per <br /> IBC 707.5. <br /> 2.
