These comments adc;ress building issues only. <br /> Revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utiliries, Planning or Fire). Code <br /> references cited include the 2003 Intematioaa: Building Code (IBC), as amended by the State of Washington, <br /> ICC/ANSI A117.1-2003 (ANSn, or the Washington State Energy Code (WSEC), 2003 edition, unless noted <br /> othenvise. In order for the processing ot your application to continue, it will be necessary ta provide the <br /> Building Division with two complete sets ot drawings reflecting the corrections requested: <br /> 1. Sheets A3.0-1-2-3: Accessible water closets in rooms l l l, 110, 012B and 012A should have a 60 inch <br /> clearance, perpendicular to side wall, without overlap of the lavatory, per ANSI seerion 6043. The baby <br /> changing station(when open) in Reshoom 110 should not restrict access to less than 32 inches,per ANSI <br /> figure 403.5. Comdor at restroom 012A to have minimum 36 inch clearance; without obstructions, per <br /> IBC section 1020.2. [f conidor at restroom 012A is part of the employee common use circulation path, <br /> the cleaz width of the corridor should be 54 inches per ANSI figure 404.23.1(� and IBC 11043.1. The <br /> take-out counter shouid not exceed 36"high per ANSI section 904. <br /> 2. Sheet ID3.0: Accessible restrooms should have vertical grab per ANSI section 604.5.1 (reference sheet <br /> A33). Where an accessible toilet(s) is provided for employees,all fixtures should be located to meet all <br /> accessibility requirements (reference sheet A33). Employee restrooms should have a smooth hard <br /> nonabsorbent floor surface extending up the wall at least 6 inches per IBC section 1210.1 <br /> 3. Sheets A9.0: Glazing in swinging door Ol7A should be tempered glass, per IBC 24063. Tempered <br /> glazing area should be noted in text on elevations and/or on the door and window schedules for clarity. <br /> 4. Sheets A3.1-2, A7.0: Baz occupancy (89) to be posted, per section 1004.3. Since [he occupant load is <br /> over 50,exit signs should idenrify the two means of egress from the bar,per secrion 1011.1. Ex[crior exit <br /> doors should have exterior illumination(per secrion 10063-5)and tactile exit sig�s,per section 10113. <br /> Upon submission of the revised drawings,your application will be given priority and plan review will begin.
