RESOLUTION No. 5945 ,IP‘o%b,/:1 <br /> A Resolution declaring the listed vehicles and equipment surplus and <br /> authorizing their disposition. <br /> Whereas, the City currently has the following vehicles and equipment in its <br /> fleet: J0015, a 1996 Ford F450 Service Truck; V0040, a 1996 Ford F250 <br /> Pickup; and <br /> Whereas, the above-referenced vehicles are no longer of value or use to the <br /> City; and <br /> Whereas, Ordinance 2963-06 establishes a procedure and methods for <br /> surplusing or disposition of City-owned personal property; and <br /> Whereas, based on the guidelines set forth in Section 2 of Ordinance 2963- <br /> 06, a public auction is the disposition method that best meets the City's <br /> interests; and <br /> Whereas, the City's purchasing manager has reported the basis for the <br /> estimated value of the surplus property and has recommended surplusing the <br /> above-referenced vehicles and equipment by public auction. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City Council of the <br /> City of Everett: <br /> 1. The vehicles J0015 and V0040 are no longer of value or use to the City and <br /> therefore are declared surplus personal property; and <br /> 2. The disposition of these vehicles and equipment at a Public Auction <br /> conducted by James G.
