• <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 5928 <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the declaration of <br /> City owned property located South of 100th Street S.W. and East of 2nd Ave W. as surplus <br /> WHEREAS, review of the surplus of the City owned property described in Exhibit "A" has been <br /> completed by all City Departments and has received approval of the Mayor; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds and determines that the real property located South of <br /> 100th Street S.W. and East of 2nd Ave W. in the City of Everett and described in Exhibit "A" is not <br /> and will not be needed for City purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the deed by which the City acquired the property had a restriction for "municipal and <br /> street purposes" and the removal of said restriction by execution of a quit claim deed is necessary <br /> prior to offering the property for sale; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council finds that the City has complied with the requirements of Section <br /> 15.8 of the City Charter and requirements of Resolution # 2935-06; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT as <br /> follows: <br /> The real property described in Exhibit "A" is not and will not be needed for City purposes and is, <br /> therefore, declared to be surplus property; and the Mayor is hereby authorized to sign a quit claim <br /> deed removing use restrictions from said property. <br /> ��2%G✓ <br /> Councilperson tr ducing Resolution <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this 8th day of August 2007. <br /> Co cil Pre fnt <br />
