• <br /> RESOLUTION No. 5919 OPO,a <br /> A Resolution declaring the listed vehicles and equipment surplus and <br /> authorizing their disposition. <br /> Whereas, the City currently has the following vehicles and equipment in <br /> its fleet: 2201, a 1991 Ford F800 Dump Truck; 3509, a 1991 John Deere <br /> 310D Backhoe; J0004, a 1995 Chevrolet 3500 Service Truck; J0008, a <br /> 1995 Freightliner Refuse Truck; V0041, a 1996 Ford F250 Pickup; and <br /> Whereas,the above-referenced vehicles and equipment, are no longer of <br /> value or use to the City; and <br /> Whereas, Ordinance 2963-06 establishes a procedure and methods for <br /> surplusing or disposition of City-owned personal property; and <br /> Whereas,based on the guidelines set forth in Section 2 of Ordinance <br /> 2963-06, a public auction is the disposition method that best meets the <br /> City's interests; and <br /> Whereas,the City's purchasing manager has reported the basis for the <br /> estimated value of the surplus property and has recommended surplusing <br /> the above-referenced vehicles and equipment by public auction. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE, it is hereby resolved by the City Council of <br /> the City of Everett: <br /> 1. The vehicles and equipment numbered 2201, 3509, J0004, J0008 and <br /> V0041 are no longer of value or use to the City and therefore are <br /> declared surplus personal property; and <br /> 2. The disposition of these vehicles and equipment at a Public Auction <br /> conducted by James G.
