/1?/%F•Am <br /> RESOLUTION No. 5904 <br /> A Resolution declaring the two City-owned houses at 911 and 915 Broadway surplus and <br /> authorizing their disposition. <br /> Whereas,construction of the North Everett Transit Center requires removal of City-owned <br /> houses from their present location at 911 and 915 Broadway; and <br /> Whereas,the above-referenced houses, if surplused separately from the land on which they are <br /> currently located, are no longer of value or use to the City; and <br /> Whereas, Ordinance 2963-06 establishes a procedure and methods for surplusing or disposition <br /> of City-owned personal property; and <br /> Whereas,based on the guidelines set forth in Section 2 of Ordinance 2963-06, solicitation of <br /> written bids is the disposition method that best meets the City's interests; and <br /> Whereas,the City's purchasing manager has reported the basis for the estimated value of the <br /> surplus property and has recommended surplusing the above-referenced houses by soliciting <br /> written bids/public sealed bids. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,it is hereby resolved by the City Council of the City of Everett: <br /> 1. The houses currently located at 911 and 915 Broadway are no longer of value or use to the <br /> City and therefore are declared surplus personal property; and <br /> 2.
