These comments <br />address building issues only. Additional revisions, or additions, may be required by other departments <br />(such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 2009 International Building Code, as <br />amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the City of Everett and the Washington State <br />Energy Code, 2006 Edition, unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the <br />Building Division with two complete new sets of construction documents reflecting the <br />corrections requested. <br />1. The plans do not include the "Slab-On-Grade Floor" insulation requirements of <br />WSEC 1311.5. <br />2. The plans indicate R-19 insulation for most of the roo£ WSEC Table 13-1 requires <br />R-21. <br />3. The plans indicate a future addition of 94,716 Sq. Ft. If this does happen or if the <br />proposed building will contain high-piled combustible storage, the proposed <br />building may be required to have smoke and heat vents in the roof in accordance <br />with IBC 910. <br />4. If equipment will be placed on the roof, permanent access must be provided in <br />accordance with IMC 306.5. <br />5. An 18" wheelchair maneuvering clearance is required between the restroom and the <br />latch jamb of the door from the second floor office. ANSI Al 17.1, Section 404.2.3. <br />6.
