Steve Miller
From:
Sent:
To:
Cc:
Subject:
Attachments:
Jason Andersen <Jason@kozdevelopment.com>
Saturday, October 17, 2015 10:51 PM
Steve Miller
Joshua Scott
EvCC
20151016095305172.pdf
Steve —
Regarding your comment letter for the Everett Community College Student Housing project. I think you and I
addressed/talked through most of these issues on Friday when I was at your office adding the revised sheets to the set
but I wanted to make sure there were no further issues and all of your comments addressed.
Life safety
1.) I know you found the referenced detail on the A4.02 sheet — so this issue should be closed.
2.) Roof deck was noted on the plans to have a posted occupancy of 49 max, the door to the deck was also changed
to swing in the direction of egress travel.
Accessibility
The only outstanding issue in this category is item #2 regarding the clear space adjacent to the beds. As I
mentioned to you on Friday the code reads that "1002.15 Beds. In at least one sleeping area, a minimum of five percent,
but not less than one bed shall comply with section 1002.15" - Of the (7) accessible units (1) has been provided with
clear space on both sides while the others have a clear space on a single side.
Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Jason Andersen
Design and Construction
(206) 422-7990
COSB kOZ '1
-= V ELOPN1EfVT :to maxe onesett ocry: ba croxy
1
