AT&T VVA6299 Part Gardner-17015.102 February 1,2017
Structural Analysis Report Page 1
INTRODUCTION
CG Engineering was retained by Camp+Associates(Client)to provide structural analysis of the existing
rooftop structure for the site modifications proposed by AT&T.
The structural analysis completed by CG Engineering was inclusive of the structural elements that were
affected by the addition of equipment and antennas associated with the proposed AT&T site
modifications. Where applicable, this includes the antenna and equipment support structure and
affected portions of the existing main structure.
SITE DESCRIPTION
The appurtenances are mounted within cylindrical FRP antenna shrouds on an existing building
penthouse rooftop with an overall height of 110'-10". The equipment is anchored to a concrete floor
slab inside of the building penthouse below the appurtenances.
The Client provided us with architectural drawings for a previous antenna installation dated 01/21/2011,
as well as structural calculations and architectural drawings for a different modification dated 4/11/2011
and 4/21/2011 respectively.CG Engineering also performed a structural analysis for a different
modification dated 01/29/2016 with architectural drawings dated 01/29/2016. Photos of the site and
architectural plans were also provided for the proposed revisions. All geometry, member sizes, and
material strengths used in our analysis were based on this information. If anything differs from the
information contained in these documents,CG Engineering should be notified to revise our analysis.
APPURTENANCE CONFIGURATION
The structure was analyzed using the appurtenance configuration specified in the following table. All
loading was provided to us from the Client. This table includes all known existing and future antennas
for this site.
Existing Appurtenance Proposed Appurtenance Configuration
Sector Configuration (Bold=New) Mount Type
} (1) KMW Panel Antenna (1) KIV§W Panel Antenna
Model No.EPBQ-654L8H8 Model No.EPBQx 654Y.8H8
(2)Kathrein Pane(Antennas (2)Kathrein Panel Antennas
i
Model No. %42-265 Model No.742-265
(2)TMAs (2)TMAs
Model No.LGP 21401 Model No.LGP 21401 Mount antennas i
&RRLIs to exist
A (3)RRHs (3)RRHs
Pipe mast within
Model No.RRH2x4OW-07L Model No.RRH2x4OW-07L
Model No.RRH2x60-1900A-4R Model No.RRH4x30-4R FRP shrouds
i
C Model No.RRH4x25-WCS-4R Model No.RRH4x25-WCS-4R
(2)Diplexers (2)Diplexers
(2)Raycap Surge Suppressor l (2)Raycap Surge Suppressor
Model No.DC2 I Model No.DC2
250 4th Avenue South,Suite 200
Edmonds,WA 98020
ENGIIERING
ph.425.77&8500 ( f.425.778.5536
+vww.cgengineering.com
