Sections 105.5 <br />and R105.5 of the International Building Code and International Residential Code state that permits <br />become invalid if the work is not commenced or is suspended or abandoned for more than 180 days. <br />Work under your permits will no longer be authorized unless you: <br />1) Demonstrate continuing progress by requesting inspection of work that has occurred since your last <br />inspection, or <br />2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, or <br />3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension, detailing justiflable cause for extension. <br />It is your responsibility to ensure that permitted work is properly and safely completed, and that all <br />required inspections are performed. Please contact us by October 12, 2015 to schedule <br />inspections or request extension. After that time the file will be sent to microfilm without final <br />approval. <br />Please note that we will not be sending repeated letters if after further inspections the permit once <br />again reaches expiration.
