RESOLUTION NO 5899 A RESOLUTION concerning 2007 Community Development Block Grant Funds and approval of the 2007 Action Plan for submission to the Department of Housing and Urban Development WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett recognized the need for certain housing and community development programs in Everett; and WHEREAS, Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds have been made available through the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide for those programs and Everett is entitled to receive $950,117.00 in 2007; and WHEREAS, CDBG funds in the amount of $95,519.56 are available to reallocate to other programs this year; and WHEREAS, through interlocal agreements, the City of Everett will receive HOME funds , American Dream Downpayment Initiative (ADDI) funds, and 2060 Housing Trust funds from Snohomish County this year; and. WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Committee for Housing and Community Development has studied the housing and community development needs and priorities of Everett and has made its recommendations for 2007 CDBG funds; HOME funds, ADDI Funds, and 2060 Housing Trust funds; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett has reviewed the recommendations of the above committee; and WHEREAS, the 2007 Action Action Plan have been written in cooperation with the Everett Housing Authority and other non profit service providers;
