Everett, WA. 9�204-7127 <br />Dear Mr. Hillman, <br />C E 14-0671 <br />Failure to eomply with the conditions listed in this notice, may result in a hearing <br />before the City's Hearing Examiner and a fine andlor costs being assessed <br />against you. <br />The City of Evere#t has examined its records and determined that you are the owner of <br />a praperty at 9227 4t" Avenue W. Currently there is a vacant residential structure and a <br />(arge shop on the property. The residen#ial structure is unfit for occupancy due to the <br />severity of the deteriorated conditions. These conditions include: <br />1. The exterior walls and supporting elements have holes, cracks, breaks and are <br />loose and/or rotting, <br />2. The roof system has missing components, defect that admit rain, and is in poor <br />repair. <br />3. The exterior stairs for the main entry are missing. <br />4. The structure has been boarded up for more than 6 years and does not allow for <br />the egress of occupants <br />5. The overall deteriorated condition of the structure is such that it should not be <br />connected to electrical service. <br />This structure has been boarded and seeured from entry for over one year without <br />permissian of the city's Building Official, in conflict with the Everett building codes. The <br />relevant provision is shown below: Section 110.1 af the International Property <br />Maintenance Cade (the "IPMC') as adopted by the City of Everett. <br />Boarding may be permitted for a limited time for the purpose of securing the praperty <br />while the owner obtain� permits to repair, restore, or demolish the structure. <br />The City would like your cooperation with the resolution of this matter.
