November 30, 2016 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 6:30 p.m., November 30, 2016, in the City Council Chambers of the <br /> William E. Moore Historic City Hall, Council President Murphy presiding. <br /> Upon roll call, it was found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members <br /> Roberts, Moore, Murphy, Franklin, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were <br /> present. <br /> Council Member Moore led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the November 23, 2016, City Council meeting were <br /> approved as printed. Council Member Stonecipher abstained from the <br /> vote. <br /> MAYOR <br /> APPOINTMENT <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher, to concur with the following appointment: <br /> Everett Historical Commission <br /> Appointment of David Ramstad to Position 8 for the remainder of <br /> the six-year term expiring December 31, 2018. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mayor Stephanson thanked the public for generosity and encouraged <br /> citizens to learn more about responsible giving opportunities in our <br /> community by visiting the City's website. The Mayor also announced that <br /> the City of Everett's government access channel added closed captioning <br /> to the live and recorded broadcasts of Everett City Council and <br /> subcommittees meetings and Everett Planning Commission meetings. <br /> 382 <br />
