Mr. Ervine considers the project to be routine
maintenance of an existing utility.
The Planning Department is not concerned at this time with requiring any additional setbacks or landscape
requirements. That is not to say that any future upgrades or changes to the property wouldn't trigger additional
requirements.
As far as needed permits go, a building permit for the fence is all that is required.
Sincerely,
Grace Pollard
Assistant Planner
From: Blanchard, Will [mailto:WABlanchard@SNOPUD.com]
Sent: Wednesday, July 08, Z015 10:47 AM
To: Grace Pollard
Subject: Norton Substation
Hello Grace,
Stepped out of my cube for a few minutes and missed your call.
That's good news O
I understand the City (per Jerry Irvine) then has waved the land use permit requirements.
When I'd talked with Teresa it seemed a special use permit was required to use the parcel as a substation. This then
absolves that requirement and we are good to continue the use under the existing permit?
Also the landscaping and any setback issues are resolved?
As far as a building permit I was expecting to submit for the wall but that's about it. Is that in line with City's
expectations?
Thanks,
Will
From: Microsoft Outlook On Behalf Of 4252577000
Sent: Wednesday, July 08, 2015 10:06 AM
To: Blanchard, Will
Subject: Voice Mail from 4252577000 (1 minute and 3 seconds)
1
Ya5
