From: Ted Budden Sent: Monday, May 11, 2015 3:24 PM To: Kevin Fagerstrom Subject: 4937 Sea Breeze Way Kevi n, We received a complaint concerning construction work being done without permits at 4937 Sea Breeze Way. I conducted an investigation to determine the accuracy and extent of the reported activity on 5/8/2015. Here is a summary of our observations and determinations. Construction alterations have been taking place on the house located at this address. These alterations include Electrical work, Plumbing work, Mechanical work, Framing and general Construction work. All of this construction has been taking place without required permits. Much of this work was observed to be installed in a manner that is contrary to law and in violation of code. As an example, electrical work has been done in a manner that is in direct violation of Code and has been determined to be Unsafe Equipment as defined by IPMC section 108.1.2 This activity is defined as Unlawful by section R113.1 of the International Residential Code and section 106.1 of the International Property maintenance Code. This is an Unlawful Structure per IPMC section 108.1.4 It was also observed that portions of the foundation adjacent to the nearby creek have settled and are likely failing. We were permitted entry to the structure by a representative of the owner named "Demetri." Photos were taken during this inspection and have been entered into the CRW file system. I have posted A Stop Work order on the house. In addition, due to the observed conditions it is my position that this building should not be occupied without approval from this Department. Please look into this matter and initiate enforcement action as your schedule allows. Regards Ted Budden 1/�
