(NGA), has reviewed the design of the subject project for consistency with our geotechnical report entitled "Geotechnical Engineering Evaluation, Pcpe Retaining Wall, Everett, Washington," dated April 27, 2015. INTRODUCTION NGA conducted a site evaluation for a failing retaining wall down slope of an existing residence located at 4937 Sea Breeze Way in Everett, Washington. Although specific to the retaining wall, NGA noted in its report that the house foundation appeared to be settling and we suggested that the possible settlement issues be assessed and remediated as needed. The engineering design firm, CT Engineering, Inc. (CT) was tasked with this assessment and has developed a design that includes both stabilizing a portion of the house foundation and repairing the retaining wall into one project. This letter addresses coinments made by the City of Everett, Public Works Department, Plan Check Number CW 1506-005, in a letter dated August 3, 2015, related to their design review of the original pennit submittal package and summarizes our review of the geotechnically-pertinent aspects of the project in the documents submitted to us; and amends our conclusions, opinions, and recommendations as needed that are relevant to the project.
