April 15, 2015 <br /> Council Member Gipson questioned whether the City of Everett could take <br /> a look at the City of Seattle's Law Enforcement Assistant Diversion <br /> (LEAD) Program. He stated that it has been successful in assisting <br /> people off the streets and into rehabilitation programs. <br /> Mayor Stephanson stated that the City of Everett would take a look at the <br /> program and that Deputy City Attorney David Hall would talk about some <br /> of the efforts the city is doing around diversion later in the City Council <br /> meeting. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session following agenda item <br /> no. 7 concerning a legal matter pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(i,c). The <br /> session is anticipated to last 15 minutes with no announcement to follow. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Bonnie Arnestad, Everett, expressed her continued concerns related to <br /> living next door to Purple Haze, a marijuana retail store. <br /> COUNCIL BRIEFING AGENDA: <br /> COUNCIL BILL NO. 1504-10 <br /> FIRST READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE approving the appropriations of the 2015 revised <br /> City of Everett Budget and amending Ordinance No. 3414-14 <br /> Presented by Susy Haugen, Finance <br /> Vice President Murphy advised that there were citizens who signed up to <br /> speak on agenda item no. 13 which was pulled from the agenda. He <br /> stated that those citizens would be allowed to speak at this time. <br /> 100 <br />
