April 1, 2015 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at 6:30 <br /> p.m., April 1, 2015 in the City Council Chambers of the William E. Moore <br /> Historic City Hall, Council President Bader presiding. Upon roll call it was <br /> found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br /> Murphy, Gipson, Bader, Stonecipher, and Tuohy were present. <br /> Council Member Murphy led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the March 25, 2015 City Council meeting were approved <br /> as printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> OATHS OF OFFICE <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Stonecipher, to concur with the appointments of Incl Yarkut and <br /> Todd Israel as new police officers. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Deputy City Clerk administered the oaths of office and Mayor <br /> Stephanson presented the officers with their badges. <br /> Mayor Stephanson reported on his trip to Washington, DC. He stated that <br /> the City of Everett received a strong commitment from the Navy to remain <br /> in our community and a formal interest by the Coast Guard to expand into <br /> Naval Station Everett. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts requested that the City Council hold a workshop <br /> sometime in April to review council procedures.
