April 8, 2015 <br /> Mike Lapointe, Everett, spoke in opposition to proposed action items 6, 7, <br /> and 8 and recommended the suggestions by the Community Streets Task <br /> Force be implemented. <br /> Joshua Farris and Bryce Phillips, SAFE community organizers, Seattle, <br /> spoke in opposition to proposed action items 6, 7, and 8. Mr. Farris also <br /> read comments written by Burien Council Member Lauren Berkowitz, who <br /> also urged council members to vote no on the proposed action. <br /> Jackie Minchew, Everett, also spoke in opposition to the action proposed <br /> in items 6, 7, and 8. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson, seconded by Council Member <br /> Moore, to approve the following consent items: <br /> RESOLUTION - CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No. 6839 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the city of Everett in the amount of <br /> $1,019,088.13 for the period of March 21, 2015, through March 27, <br /> 2015. <br /> RESOLUTION — PAYROLL <br /> To adopt Resolution No. 6840 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved payroll claims against the city of Everett in the amount <br /> of$3,361,555.24 for the period ending March 21, 2015. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The meeting recessed for an executive session at 8:25 p.m. and <br /> reconvened at 8:31 p.m. <br /> 95 <br />
