Through a grant application process, 11 art organizations applied <br /> for assistance in the amount of$ 39,100 for 2003. After a series of review and the Commission's <br /> consideration, a total of$ 20,000 has been recommended for financial awards. <br /> An awards summary and project descriptions are attached. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Approve the recommended allocation of Cultural Commission Financial Assistance Awards to 11 agencies <br /> in the total amount of$ 20,000. <br /> 4 7 <br />
