The attached <br /> agreement formalizes the existing relationship with Stanwood. <br /> Terms and conditions of the agreement are similar to agreements that the City has entered into with other <br /> jurisdictions for the provision of animal shelter services. This includes shelter services such as holding <br /> animals at the shelter; releasing animals to owners; adoption of unclaimed animals; and, euthanizing animals. <br /> The fee charged to Stanwood is $60.00 per animal processed. It can be annually adjusted on January 1St of <br /> each year. Either party may terminate this agreement upon sixty(60) days notice, in writing, to the other <br /> party. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign an Animal Shelter <br /> Agreement with the City of Stanwood. <br /> CG:ccarnstr.doc <br /> 18 <br />
