The solicitation described all equipment <br /> appliances, materials, labor and the performance of all operations necessary to completely <br /> furnish food service equipment for the kitchen in the public space portion of the City of Everett <br /> Regional Special Events Center. <br /> A single response was received as shown on the attached bid summary. <br /> Bargreen Ellingson Inc. offered the sole bid which was judged to be a fair and reasonable price <br /> when compared to our original budget estimates for each item. <br /> We reserved the right to reduce or increase the quantity of any item, or to choose an additive <br /> alternate in lieu of a basic item. Staff recommends that quantities be adjusted as shown; however <br /> there may be a few additional items that may need to be purchased separately to complete the <br /> outfitting of this kitchen. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Award Bid 2003-536 for Food Service Equipment from Bargreen Ellingson Inc. of Tacoma, the <br /> lowest responsive bidder at their unit prices bid for an adjusted total of$380,902.88, including <br /> Washington State Sales Tax. <br /> 26 <br />
