Linda Johanasen, manager of the Everett Mall, has contacted me to tell me the Mall is working <br /> with Navy families to show support for the military men and women from Naval Station Everett currently involved in our <br /> nation's efforts in the Middle East. The Mall is distributing yellow ribbons in support of our Naval personnel and their <br /> families. <br /> At this time, I would like to move that the City Council authorize the Mayor to work with Linda Johanasen and the Everett <br /> Mall to have City personnel attach yellow ribbons to trees within the downtown area to show the City's support for the Navy <br /> families and the military men and women from Naval Station Everett. <br /> 1 <br />
