Expenditure Required $ -0- Account Number(s): Amount Budgeted $ 4,600,000 Additional Required $ -0- Fund 342, Program 005 SUMMARY STATEMENT: Through a series of actions including the adoption of Resolution No's. 5133, 5156 and 5205, adoption of Ordinance 2638-02 creating a fund for Special Events Center Project Improvements and Public Space Facility Construction, along with the approval of the City/PFD Financing Interlocal, the Council authorized the design and construction of the public space component of the Special Events Center. The Tennant Improvement Plans & Specifications are complete and ready for Bid Call. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize a Call for Bids for Public Space Tennant Improvements at the Regional Special Events Center with an opening scheduled for May 15, 2003.
