Such an agreement would be mutually beneficial. <br /> RCW 39.34 allows cooperative purchasing between public agencies (political subdivisions). <br /> Public agencies which have filed an Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with <br /> the City of Everett may purchase from City of Everett contracts, provided that the Vendor has <br /> agreed to such participation. Likewise, the City of Pullman extends the use of its competitively <br /> awarded bids to the City of Everett. <br /> This type of cooperation between public entities improves efficiency and provides opportunities <br /> for cost savings. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize Mayor to sign Interlocal Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with City of Pullman. <br /> 1 <br />
