E "' l I RESOLUTION NO A RESOLUTION authorizing application for 2003 Community Development Block Grant Funds and 2003 Action Plan to the Department of Housing and Urban Development WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett recognized the need for certain housing and community development programs in Everett; and WHEREAS, funds have been made available through the Department of Housing and Urban Development to provide for those programs and Everett is entitled to receive $1,130,000.00 in 2003; and WHEREAS,funds in the amount of$26,472.57 are available to reallocate to other programs this year, and WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Committee for Housing and Community Development has recommend $336,030.00 in HOME funds be used to fully fund two and partially fund one of the 2003 non-public service projects. WHEREAS,the Citizens Advisory Committee for Housing and Community Development has studied the housing and community development needs and priorities of Everett and has made its recommendations for 2003 Community Development Block Grant funds; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Everett has reviewed the recommendations of the above committee, and WHEREAS, the 2003 Annual Action Plan has been put together in cooperation with the Everett Housing Authority and other non profit service providers; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT THAT: I5
