2 <br /> N <br /> 8. Install and operate video monitoring equipment in all parking lots, monitored and <br /> recorded at the front desk 24 hours per day, seven days per week. <br /> 9. Require all master keys to be checked out by qualified employees only and that <br /> each such employee be held accountable until said keys are returned. <br /> 10. Install and maintain sufficient lighting to illuminate all common areas,including, <br /> but not limited to,parking lots, sidewalks,hallways,and alleys. <br /> 11. Issue parking passes to all vehicles to be allowed to park on the premises with <br /> each pass marked with the issue date and expiration date. <br /> 12. Provide the Everett Police Department with written authorization to arrest non- <br /> authorized persons on the property for trespassing. <br /> 13. Report,repair/remove all graffiti and vandalism within a reasonable amount of <br /> time. <br /> 14. Enforce the following guest rules: <br /> a. Rooms are not to be rented on an hourly basis. <br /> b. At registration, each adult guest is required to show at least one piece of <br /> photo identification. <br /> c. All visitors and guests must check in at the front desk. Only cars that have <br /> been checked in at the front desk may be parked in the lot. Any vehicle <br /> parked in the lot without having been checked in at the front desk may be <br /> towed at the owner's expense. <br /> d. No room may be used for criminal or nuisance activity as defined by state <br /> statute or Everett Municipal Codes. <br /> e. Alcohol may not be consumed in common areas except those areas <br /> licensed as a designated area for consumption of alcohol. <br /> 15. Submit to requests for verification of compliance at the discretion of the Everett <br /> Police Department. <br /> Section 10. Chapter 25,Section 9 of Ordinance No. 295-74 (EMC 5.100.090) which reads as <br /> follows: <br /> Hotel register. <br /> Every person,firm or corporation to whom a hotel license shall have been issued under the <br /> provisions of this chapter shall at all times keep a standard hotel register in which shall be <br /> inscribed the names of all guests or persons renting, using or occupying rooms or quarters <br /> therein,in which register shall be written,the number of the room or rooms which guest or <br /> 7 <br /> 9 <br />
