At the same time, there are occasions when the Port requests use of City
facilities, equipment and/or resources. As a condition of using the respective facilities, equipment and/or
resources, permits and insurance are necessary requiring negotiations as well as Council and Port
Commissioner's formal action.
The City has entered into master use agreements with the School District and Boeing. These master
agreements have proven to be very helpful because they then allow for a more streamlined permit process.
Attached is a master use agreement with the Port using the same agreement as the City has with the School
District.
RECOMMENDATION:
Authorize the Mayor to execute the Interlocal Agreement Between the Port of Everett and the City of
Everett Regarding the Cooperative Use of Facilities, Equipment and Resources.
Agenda Port Facility Use Agreement
16
