Sections 105.5 and R105.5 of the International Building Code <br />and International Residential Code state that permits become invalid if the work is not commenced or <br />is suspended or abandoned for more than 180 days. Work under your permits will no longer be <br />authorized unless you: <br />1) Demonstrate continuing progress by requesting inspection of work that has occurred since your last <br />inspection, or <br />2) Request final inspections of permitted work. <br />It is your responsibility to ensure that permittecl work is properly ancl safely completed, and that all <br />required inspections are performed. Please contact us by March 7, 2016 to schedule. After that <br />time the file will be sent to microfilm without final approval. <br />Please note that we will not be sending repeated letters if after further inspections the permit once <br />again reaches expiration.
