Such an agreement would be mutually beneficial. <br /> RCW 39.34 allows cooperative purchasing between public agencies (political subdivisions). Public <br /> agencies which have filed an Intergovernmental Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with the City of Everett <br /> may p urchase from C ity o f E verett contracts,provided t hat the Vendor has agreed to such participation. <br /> Likewise, the City of Mount Vernon extends the use of its competitively awarded bids to the City of Everett. <br /> This type of cooperation between public entities is cost effective for both parties. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize Mayor to sign Interlocal Cooperative Purchasing Agreement with City of Mount Vernon. <br /> 3 <br /> C:\Documents and Settings\dbryant\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLK122\mt-vernon interlocall.docl <br />
