Expenditure Required Account Number(s): Amount Budgeted $4,600,000 Additional Required • Fund 342, Program 005 SUMMARY STATEMENT: Through a series of actions, including the adoption of ResolutionNo's. 5133, 5156 and 5205; adoption of Ordinance 2638-02 creating a fund for Special Events Center Project Improvements and Public Space Facility Construction; along with the approval of the City/PFD Financing Interlocal, the Council authorized the design and construction of the public space component of the Special Events Center. The Tenant Improvement Plans & Specifications were authorized for Bid Call on April 9, 2003. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Accept the Bid and Authorize award of the construction contract for the tenant improvement phase of the conference center in Everett's Special Events Center to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. 7
