8 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION RESCHEDULING DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR DETERMINATION TO USE <br /> GENERAL CONTRACTOR/CONSTRUCTION MANAGER(GC/CM) ALTERNATIVE PUBLIC <br /> WORKS METHOD FOR CONSTRUCTION OF WPCF UPGRADE, SCHEDULE A. <br /> WHEREAS, City Council passed Resolution 5345 on June 4, 2003, in which Council <br /> preliminarily determined to use the General Contractor/Construction Manager(GC/CM) <br /> alternative public works method for construction of its Water Pollution Control Facility; and <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution 5345 set a hearing date, as required by law; <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Works department needs to reschedule the public hearing; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT CITY COUNCIL DOES RESOLVE: <br /> A public hearing shall be held on August 6, 2003 a.m. during the Council's weekly meeting, <br /> which commences at 8:30 a.m. City Council will accept oral and written comments at that public <br /> hearing regarding the appropriateness of using the GC/CM alternative public works procedure of <br /> public works contracting. <br /> Council Person Introducing Resolution <br /> PASSED AND APPROVED this day of , 2003 <br /> Arlan Hatloe, Council President <br /> 43 <br />
