Peugh:
As regested, we have completed a supplementary geotechnical study for the subject project. To complete our
study, we reviewed existing soils data sumatiarized in the referexiced report, complted a geologic reconnaissance
of the praperty to observe existing site and soil conditions, and hand excavated two shallow test boriigs near the
northeast site comer in the vicinity of the proposed water cuality pond. "This report summarizes the resuits ai our
study and provides geoteehnical engineering recommezzdatious tor project design and canstruction.
PROJECT DESCRIPTYN
Ttie project will consist of constructing a light i.ndusriallwarehause stncture with associated access, parking, and
utility improvements. The faotprint oi the structure will caver an area af aproximatety 23,000 square feet.
Grading to establish desired building elevations will iztvolve excavation approaching eight feet in f.h
southwestern portion af the site, vith fill degths of a similar magnitud required towards the northeast building
and site cornezs. Vertical grade transitians created by the proposed grading will be faced with rackery
construction. Developmeat storulwater will be collected by a series of catch basins and transpored to a watzr
quality pond tlat wili be constructed at the base of #he slope ak the aortheask carner of the site. The pond will
require au excavation of about four ta five feet beIow current site grade in this area. The upgradient west side of
tbe pond excavation wi11 be faced witl rockery construction, and a iwo- to three-foot iih tzll containment berm
wili be constilicteci alang t}ie soutkxeast pond perimeter.
12525 Willow Road, Suite 101, hirkland, Washington 98034
Phone (425) 821-7777 • Fax (425} 821-4334
