Employers of 100 or more employees, (reporting to work between 6:00 AM and <br /> 9:00 AM, Monday through Friday) are affected by the CTR laws. To implement the CTR law, the <br /> Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has designated funding to reimburse affected <br /> jurisdictions, such as the City of Everett, for its CTR related expenses. Staff recommends that the City of <br /> Everett exercise its authority to contract directly with the WSDOT for available CTR reimbursement funds. <br /> The agreement is from July 1, 2003 through June 30, 2005. The amount available for the first year of the <br /> agreement is $46, 582. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Authorize the Mayor to sign Agreement GCA3666 for Commute Trip Reduction <br /> Implementation with Washington State Department of Transportation. <br /> 7 <br /> MA1/081303 CTR <br />
