WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 20, 2003 CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes: August 13, 2003 Mayor's Comments - Downtown Open Space Council City Attorney Citizen Comments CONSENT ITEMS (to be adopted by a single motion) (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $1,586,078.63 for the period August 2, 2003 through August 8, 2003 (2) Adopt Resolution # authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $2,712,638.30 for the period ending July 26, 2003 ACTION ITEMS (to be considered individually) (3) Authorize the Mayor to sign a Professional Service Agreement with R.W. Beck in to support the implementation of the GC/CM method of construction the amount of $94,088.00 (4) Authorize the Mayor to sign Change Order No. 2 with Potelco, Inc. for the Wetmore Avenue /Hoyt Avenue One-Way to Two-Way Conversion Project in the amount of $ 133,106.52. (5) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Interlocal Agreement with Snohomish County to fund the multi-jurisdictional Events Center Facility of Everett Public Facilities District with county hotel / motel tax proceeds (6) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Interlocal Agreement with Everett Public Facilities District whereby the District agrees to abide by the terms of the City- Snohomish County Interlocal Agreement in order to receive hotel/motel taxes passed through the city from the county for the Everett Special Events Center (7) Approve the Funding Approval/Agreement and Authorize the Mayor to sign the 2003 Community Development Block Grant in the amount of $1,130,000.00 (8) Adopt Resolution # establishing human needs priorities for allocation of the 2004 Human Needs Grants funds AGENDA CONTINUED ON BACK OF THIS PAGE
