J <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 6851 <br /> A RESOLUTION waiving public bidding requirements and approving the sole source purchase of a Granular <br /> Media Filter Pilot Plant from Intuitech, Inc. <br /> WHEREAS,the City has the need to purchase a fully integrated drinking water filtration pilot plant; and <br /> WHEREAS, Intuitech, Inc is the only manufacturer known to provide such a system with the necessary <br /> integrated control and monitoring systems; and <br /> WHEREAS, Intuitech only sells these systems directly to the end user, without inteiniediary distributors or <br /> dealers; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EVERETT that <br /> because there is clearly and legitimately only one source capable of supplying a fully integrated Granular <br /> Media Filtration Pilot Plant;the City hereby waives competitive bidding requirements and authorizes the <br /> purchase of this equipment from Intuitech, Inc. <br /> C uncilperson Introduce g Resolution <br /> PASSED and APPROVED this 6th day of MAY , 2015. <br /> Council President <br />
