r ' <br /> • <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 5794 <br /> A RESOLUTION authorizing the Mayor to sign the <br /> Water and Sewer Mutual Aid Agreement - 2006 <br /> A RESOLUTION of the City of Everett, Snohomish County, Washington, to aut orize the <br /> Mayor to sign the Water and Sewer Mutual Aid Agreement — 2006 for the provision of <br /> personnel, materials and equipment to other water and sewer utilities (Pu eyors) in <br /> Snohomish County who are parties to this Agreement and who request assistance to handle a <br /> disaster or emergency. <br /> WHEREAS, on September 13, 1995, City of Everett Resolution No. 4165 authorized <br /> the Mayor to sign the Sewer and Water Mutual Aid Agreement for the provision of personnel <br /> and equipment in disasters and emergencies, and <br /> WHEREAS, the Mayor signed the Sewer and Water Mutual Aid Agreement as <br /> authorized by Resolution No. 4165, and <br /> WHEREAS, signatories to the Sewer and Water Mutual Aid Agreement(de eloped <br /> in 1995) have jointly proposed language revisions to clarify the terms and condition for their <br /> existing Sewer and Water Mutual Aid Agreement, and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has the power and authority to approve the signing of <br /> Water and Sewer Mutual Aid Agreement — 2006, for the purpose of providing personnel, <br /> materials and equipment to other water and sewer utilities (Purveyors) of Snohomish County <br /> who are parties to this Agreement and who request assistance to handle a disaster or <br /> emergency, and <br />
