I conducted a permit search in both computer data records and microfiche. I find no permits for creating finished <br /> space in the basement portion of this house. <br /> 3.The house is being offered for sale on a Redfin real estate website. Marketing photos on this website show before <br /> and after images of the basement area.These photos along with website commentary about the alterations clearly <br /> indicate that the basement area has been altered without required permits and approvals. (additionalP code violations <br /> may be discovered during the permitting and review and inspection process) <br /> 4.This building is an Unlawful Structure as defined by Section 108.1.4 of the International Property Maintenance Code. <br /> 5. They are calling to report that this house has <br /> been completely re-habed and is now worth a ton more money. I found it on Redfin and I agree. I found a <br /> permit for a roof and a new service panel, but I have concerns about some of this work.
