WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 15, 2003 CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes: October 8, 2003 Mayor's Comments Council City Attorney Citizen Comments CONSENT ITEMS (to be adopted by a single motion) (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $ 2,332,350.42 for the period September 27, 2003 through October 3, 2003 (2) Accept Swim Center Duct Replacement Mechanical Upgrade and Chiller Revision as constructed by Sturdeweld Construction as complete and begin the retainage release waiting period (3) To approve the closure of Lombard and Oakes Avenues, 35th Street to the Everett Memorial Stadium, for a Puget Sound Festival of Bands sponsored by the Cascade High School Band and Color Guard Boosters on October 25, 2003 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. with the conditions that there be four certified flaggers at the intersection of 37th and Oakes Avenue for safety purposes and that local access be allowed to Lombard and Oakes Avenues via permits issued by the Cascade High School Band ACTION ITEMS (to be considered individually) (4) Concur with the recommendations of the Budget and Finance Committee and the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee to cancel the Salty Sea Days contract (5) Authorize the Mayor to sign Change Order No.1 with Road Runner Striping & Curbing for the 2003 Pavement Markings Project in the amount of $3,167.75 (6) Accept the 2003 Pavement Markings Project as complete and Authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion releasing retainage in the amount of $1,641.14 (7) Authorize the Mayor to sign the Software License Agreement between the City of Everett and Trapeze Software Group Inc.
