The City of Lynnwood competitively bid and <br /> awarded contract for mobile data terminals of the same type we need. Lynnwood's contract <br /> represents a savings of 15-18% off list prices and there is an additional $7,160 rebate on orders <br /> placed before October 31, 2003. <br /> We have an interlocal cooperative purchasing agreement with the City of Lynnwood that allows <br /> us to make purchases from their competitively awarded contracts in lieu of soliciting bids of our <br /> own. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Approve purchase of 40 Panasonic Toughbook Laptops from City of Lynnwood contract 994 <br /> awarded to Datec. <br /> 15 <br />
