RESOLUTION NO. 5658 <br /> A RESOLUTION for the proposed vacation of that portion <br /> of Main Street lying East of S. 2nd Avenue <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett does hereby declare that the following street within the <br /> Plat of the Town of Lowell, described as follows: <br /> All of that portion of Main Street lying east of S. 2nd Avenue and adjacent <br /> to Blocks 19 and 22, Plat of the Town of Lowell, according to the plat <br /> thereof, recorded in Volume 1 of Plats, Page 11, records of Snohomish <br /> County, Washington, except that portion of Main Street vacated by <br /> Snohomish County on February 25, 1952; <br /> and shown on the attached sketch, appears to be surplus to the foreseeable needs of <br /> the City of Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett desires to vacate all of the above described street; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that pursuant to R.C.W. Chapter 35.79.010, the City Council of the City of <br /> Everett intends to hold a hearing on the vacation of the above described property; <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the hearing on said Resolution of Intention be held <br /> on September 7, 2005 at 8:30A.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 3002 <br /> Wetmore Avenue, Everett, Washington to consider the proposed street vacation; <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Notice be given as required by law, and in addition <br /> hereto that Notice be mailed at least fifteen (15) days before the date fixed for the <br /> hearing to the owners, or reputed owners, of all parcels of land, or other property <br /> abutting said street to be vacated, as shown on the rolls of the County Treasurer. <br /> �i .
