RESOLUTION NO. 5658 A RESOLUTION for the proposed vacation of that portion of Main Street lying East of S. 2nd Avenue WHEREAS, the City of Everett does hereby declare that the following street within the Plat of the Town of Lowell, described as follows: All of that portion of Main Street lying east of S. 2nd Avenue and adjacent to Blocks 19 and 22, Plat of the Town of Lowell, according to the plat thereof, recorded in Volume 1 of Plats, Page 11, records of Snohomish County, Washington, except that portion of Main Street vacated by Snohomish County on February 25, 1952; and shown on the attached sketch, appears to be surplus to the foreseeable needs of the City of Everett; and WHEREAS, the City of Everett desires to vacate all of the above described street; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF EVERETT that pursuant to R.C.W. Chapter 35.79.010, the City Council of the City of Everett intends to hold a hearing on the vacation of the above described property; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the hearing on said Resolution of Intention be held on September 7, 2005 at 8:30A.M. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 3002 Wetmore Avenue, Everett, Washington to consider the proposed street vacation; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Notice be given as required by law, and in addition hereto that Notice be mailed at least fifteen (15) days before the date fixed for the hearing to the owners, or reputed owners, of all parcels of land, or other property abutting said street to be vacated, as shown on the rolls of the County Treasurer. �i .
