WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 5, 2003 CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes: October 29, 2003 Mayor's Comments — Swearing in of Everett Police Officer Maryjane Hacker Council City Attorney Citizen Comments CONSENT ITEMS (to be adopted by a single motion) (1) Adopt Resolution # authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $ 4,671,991.05 for the period October 18, 2003 through October 24, 2003 (2) Adopt Resolution # authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $2,601,047.97 for the period ending October 18, 2003 (3) Adopt Resolution # authorizing electronic transfer claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $3,768,934.05 for the period of September 1, 2003 through September 30, 2003 (4) Accept the California Street Overcrossing Project as complete and Authorize the Mayor to sign the Certificate of Completion releasing the retainage bond and retainage in the amount of $28,748.60 ACTION ITEMS (to be considered individually) (5) Adopt the recommendations of the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee regarding allocations of current Lodging Tax revenues: "That the Budget and Finance Committee seek proposals for available Hotel Motel Tax funds including the $17,000 allocated for Visitor Information Bureau. That the Budget and Finance Committee, when reviewing the proposals in response to the RFP evaluate a mix of activities and financial information including overall marketing of space, the criteria for funds would also include a review of reviewed, audited or compiled financial statements from prior years."
