(Maximum)
Expenditure Required $120,000. Account Number(s): UT-2908
Budget Remaining $ -0-
Additional Required
DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT:.
This is a three-way agreement between Puget Sound Energy, the Snohomish County PUD and the City.
Under the contract, a subcontractor will install water-saving spray heads in kitchen facilities in the Everett
water service area. The estimated cost per installation is approximately$60. The City will pay half the cost
based on the anticipated water savings. Puget Sound Energy or the PUD will pay the other half(depending
upon whether the business has gas or electric water heating)based on the anticipated energy savings. This
expenditure meets the regional cost-effectiveness test for water conservation expenditures.
RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council):
Authorize the Mayor to sign the agreement with Puget Sound Energy and PUD for Spray Head Replacement
Program.
,- 10
