Please note that I am sending a copy of this letter, but not the contract, to City Attorney Jim Iles and the City's Surface Water consultant, Karen Willie. I had written a letter to Mr. Iles and Ms. Willie on November 5 about amending the contract in order to be more specific about the Wood Creek problem. It seems prudent, however, to renew the contract as is at this point and amend it later if that becomes necessary and/or appropriate. In accordance with your email to me of October 25, please note that the two originals that I have mailed have been signed by the District at Marshland's December 13 regular meeting. I have also corrected the error you noted in an email to me of October 14. The renewal is_to be for three years whereas I had listed years which would have covered a span of four years, even though the text mentioned that the contract was for three years. I will be out of the office after December 15 but trust that you will be able to present this and process it through the City Council without any further assistance from me.
