March 27, 2013 <br /> Appointment of Angela Stahl to Position No. 5 for a 2-year term <br /> ending 2/28/15 <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mayor Stephanson reported on meetings he and the Economic Alliance <br /> Snohomish County attended last week with staff in Washington, D. C. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts commented on a tour and meeting he attended <br /> with Port of Everett staff. He also expressed appreciation for this week's <br /> dedication and groundbreaking on the farmers market project. <br /> Council Member Gipson reported on his attendance at the National <br /> League of Cities annual conference held earlier in March. <br /> President Moore thanked Mayor Stephanson and Council Members <br /> Gipson and Roberts for representing the City in Washington, D. C. this <br /> month. He reported that he attended the Council of Neighborhoods <br /> meeting on Monday and expressed appreciation for the ongoing <br /> communication between city representatives and Everett citizens. <br /> President Moore announced that on May 29, 2013, the Fire Department is <br /> scheduled to present their annual report, and that a date will be selected <br /> for a Code Enforcement and Police Department update in the near future. <br /> He also apologized for recent technical difficulties of live broadcasts <br /> resulting from the conversion to a new broadcast system. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> City Attorney Iles requested an executive session regarding one real <br /> estate/legal matter pursuant to RCW 42.30.110(1)(c) and RCW <br /> 42.30.110(1)(i) and one real estate matter pursuant to <br /> 86 <br />
