We have lived at thie addrese eince we had the house and detached garage built in 1975. We purpoaely � had the garae,e built and installed an hydraulic lift due to m,y i interest in working on cara begir.ning in �unior high echeol. In 1972, we �oined the Porsche Club of America. Since then we have taken on more and more responsibilities in the club. In � 1975, I beca:ne the tech chairman and in 1978 my wife became member- ship chairman. 4Je both atill have these responaibilitles and in that time the club has grown from 350 to 650 members in our Pacific North- west region consisting of western �ashington and part of eastern 'rlashington. 3ecauae of our rolea in the club we receive telephone calle and visita from people desiring technical information a.bout their cars as well ac advice about cars they are conaidering purchasing. I give free inspectiona for prosoectine buyers who get my name from other club members as well as dealerdhine in the Seattle area. In addition, 1 have appeared in court as a witneas Sor Porsr_he owners who have had problems with other garaPes in working on their care. 7 have ��ritten documente £or the state as to the value of older care and I have assisted peorie who have had mechanical probleme with their cars as well as allowing friends and club membere to uee m,y facilities. Personall,y sreaking, ]?athy and I are involved in reetoring and showing Yorsches in concours as well as rallies, autocrosses and driver's training sessions. We use the garage to prepare �.ouF cars for these activitles.Tor the last three months we have been building an enclosed trailer ontside the garage to carry the car to car showe. This buildinP activity seemingly hae upset one of our neighbors. . I:i addition I was spending mo^e time working in my garage recently since I was laid off Srom my �ob for six weeke. I have now been reemployed b,y Western Gear as a machinist and so amm spending lees time in the garage at this time. I have gone around to m,y neighbors twice now and have found �ust the one person who ie unbappy.
