Both UFC Article 80 and UBC Chapter 9 deal with the <br /> storage, use and handling of hazardous <br /> materials,includinq the product Ammonium Nitrate. <br /> (c) . Ammonium Nitrate is classified a Class 4 Oxidizer and a <br /> � � Class ] Reactive material. as such, the storaqe, use � <br /> � and handling are classifiad by the UBC as a H-1 <br /> Occupancy. Such use is not permitted within buildings <br /> b � of mixed use. �`orage of ammonium nitrate must <br /> � y therefore be in a separate buildinq. such building must <br /> H ��t ba a minimum of 75 feet from any property line, <br /> ',� includinq assumed lines of other buildinqs on the same <br /> � property. <br /> � �� <br /> � y� (d) . Any building storing hazardous materials nust apply for <br /> � a Fire Department permit for such storaqe.
